Description

Our natural white fir essential oil for cosmetics is obtained from the species with the botanical name Abies Alba. The product bears the name White Fir natural essential oil for cosmetics. The oil remains liquid and takes on a yellowish-brown colour. The colour comes from the resinous substances that the needles contain and transfer to the liquid during extraction. The needle raw material gives off a rich and intense fragrance with a fresh and resinous character. The character turns into a pronounced pine note, which shapes the forest side of the aromatic profile. The profile remains pure in character, as steam distillation separates the volatile constituents from the needles and collects them in the finished liquid form of the product. The needles come from plantations in Bulgaria, where the plant occupies the high mountain belt and finds acidic forest soils suitable for its development. The species belongs to the family Pinaceae and occurs in the mountains of Europe, with the Balkan populations marking the southern limit of its natural range. The range and the cool climate accompany the natural cultivation of the plantations, which determines the entirely natural composition of the oil. The product contains neither preservatives nor colourants. The absence of such supplements preserves the natural integrity of the liquid and leaves its sensory character entirely dependent on the plant raw material and the extraction method. The method, together with the pure composition, maintains the quality of the oil. The quality rests on the single plant source, and the mountain origin complements the natural characteristics of the raw material. The natural characteristics are therefore evident in the forest appearance of the product. The needles of the white fir give the liquid its resinous tone.

Application
White fir essential oil is widely used in face, body and hair care. In facial products, it is incorporated into creams, cleansing gels, toners and masks with a firming, refreshing and toning action, suitable for combination, oily and problem skin. Its soothing character also makes it a fitting choice for aftershave gels, beard care products and formulas for sensitive skin. In body care, the oil is used in lotions, massage oils, scrubs, shower gels and moisturising milks, where it adds a fresh coniferous aroma and contributes to a feeling of vitality and comfort. It is also included in natural deodorants, soaps, hand and foot creams and after-sun lotions. For the hair, it is used in shampoos, conditioners and masks intended for an oily scalp and for maintaining the freshness and vitality of the hair. Lip balms with a light cooling note and gels for the eye area complete the range of possible applications. The oil fits equally well into professional cosmetic formulas and into products for everyday home care, including aromatherapy ranges, serums and complex products for day and night care.

Storage

Store natural white fir essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
